Cancelled — Experiencing Gray Whales

March 28 | 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT

⚠️ Cancelled: Cape Perpetua Winter Speaker Series due to Coronavirus

Recent policy guidance has come out with the Forest Service regarding meetings and events with the intent to reduce exposure risk of public and staff. A determination has been made to post-pone the remaining Saturday speaker events for March. At this time, we are not able to offer a definitive time period for rescheduling yet.

Cape Perpetua Winter Speaker Series – Presentations begin at 11:00am

Michael Noack, a retired Chief Park Ranger and Naturalist, will present Experiencing Gray Whales. Noack has been educating agency staff and the public about the natural world, especially gray whales, for many years. After the program, he will be available to discuss whale watch techniques that have worked for him. Cape Perpetua is a partner of Whale Watch Spoken Here, a program of Oregon State Parks that promotes whale watching at 24 designated locations along the Oregon coast.
