Marine Reserve Ambassador Program

Our trained volunteer ambassadors will be out at Smelt Sands State Park along the historic 804 trail every weekend until September 4th! Ambassadors are local coastal residents who are passionate about helping you discover all the Cape Perpetua area has to offer. All ambassadors bring a different set of expertise and information about the area. Some ambassadors are eager to tell you all about subjects like natural history and geology while others can give you the scoop on the best places to eat and local trails and others are experts on wildlife and tidepools. But all Ambassadors are happy to try to answer your questions, handout resources, talk about the marine reserve, and pass out stickers and dog biscuits for our furry visitors!
