Plant Ecology of the Northern Oregon Coast Range

Cape Perpetua Fall Speaker Series – Presentations begin at 11:00am

Glavich will explore the distribution of forest and meadow plant communities across the Oregon Coast Range. Topics include biophysical environments that drive vegetation patterns and structure. Glavich is a Forest Service Area Ecologist that works across the Siuslaw, Willamette, Mt Hood National Forests and the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area. Focal area is non-forest habitats: linking meadow vegetation parameters to wildlife needs, classifying plant species composition types,  and remote sensing.

***Parking & seating limited. Please plan accordingly.

The event is free, but a Northwest Forest Pass, Oregon Coast Passport, federal recreation pass, or $5 day-use fee is required within the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area and at some trailheads and day use sites.
