Water Quality on Oregon’s Beaches

Cape Perpetua Winter Speaker Series – Presentations begin at 11:00am

Have you ever wondered if playing in the ocean or on the beach could make you sick? Luckily there are dedicated volunteers testing water quality year round on Oregon’s beaches. Join us to learn from Brianna Goodwin about Surfrider Foundation’s water quality monitoring with a focus on Oregon’s marine reserves.

***Parking & seating limited. Please plan accordingly.

The event is free, but a Northwest Forest Pass, Oregon Coast Passport, federal recreation pass, or $5 day-use fee is required within the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area and at some trailheads and day use sites.
