804 Trial
Interpretive Signs

There are interpretive signs along the 804 trail  in Yachats, Oregon regarding trail history and we aim to add 6 additional signage to enhance the visitor experience by telling a well-rounded story about what can be seen while walking the trail. This project focuses on engaging visitors and locals while increasing awareness of the marine environment, including: Cape Perpetua Marine Reserve, marbled murrelet/land-sea connection, migration patterns, Whale Trail, the food web and geology.

This project was done in partnership with Yachats Trails, City of Yachats, Oregon State Parks, Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife, Whale Trail, Oregon Cetacean Society, Portland Audubon and Overleaf Lodge.
